About Me

My story began in the midwest—where life was shaped by dirt roads, wheat fields, farm work, and a steady rhythm of faith and community. Those early years instilled in me a deep appreciation for simplicity, discipline, and seeing beauty in the everyday.

After high school, I boarded a plane for the first time and moved to Namibia, Africa, serving as a missionary. Over the next four years, I traveled across twelve countries throughout Africa and Europe. That season shaped the way I see the world—expanding my perspective, deepening my appreciation for people, and awakening a lifelong love for culture, movement, and story.

Following my time abroad, I returned to the Midwest to pursue a degree in Media Arts with a focus in photography. Today, my journey has led me to Raleigh, North Carolina, where I continue to build and create.

Photography, for me, has always been about more than capturing what’s in front of the lens—it’s about revealing what others might miss.

We see the world from shoulder height, but vision is something deeper. Sight is a function of the eyes; vision is a function of imagination. While anyone can learn the technical side of photography, it takes intention, creativity, and perspective to tell a meaningful story. That’s where I come in.
